weird start issue

weird start issue

this has happened on 2 or 3 seperate occasions now. ill park the bike for a bit, stop to get a drink and shoot the breeze for a short while, turn the key, hit the start button and itll crank a few times and then feels like i let go of the button but its almost got a rough stop to it. happened a few times. what do you guys think? what should i start getting ready to replace?

have the battery checked... sounds like it is loosing its cranking power

Ill have to do that. Its just weird because ill let go of the button and hit it again and it goes with no problems.

Could be between the start button and the starter relay, squeeze a wire in a connector between the button and the relay trigger, plug a voltmeter and make it happen, if the voltage drop while you crank the push button may be bad, if not the starter relay gets tired.

Alright cool thanks for the help guys. I'm gonna try both soon and see what kinda results I get.
