sparks question?

ok ... does the spark timing depends on engine temperature. i have feeling that bike is making much more vibrations when temp. is at 1/4 of scale than when its near half of gauge. also its seems to me that its pulling weaker.

how much time do you spend on warming up? i start riding when scale starts moving.

I roll when she'll run without choke regardless of temp. No vibration issues. You might want to check the carb balance. Different combustion pressures could cause your symptom. I doubt its an ignition issue.

Serbia? I am jealous. You have a chance to see Mark Knopfler with Bob Dylan in concert together. I don't think that they will come to the 'States.

temp does not matter for the spark at all. your carbs out of sync would do it for sure. i found something on mine the other day. the plug wire were it goes into the spark plug boot and coil were corroded really bad (falling apart) fixed it and alot better now.

ok i will do the sync, but one more question. in service manual it says carb vacuum difference 20mm Hg or 0.8 inch Hg. is that the way to sync them or should both cylinders have to be on same level on idle. its very confusing. and should levels raise equally when i throttle up. i was trying to find a thread about this on forum but i couldn't.
