Is this seat stock?
I haven’t seen a stock pic with this seat. Curious if I just missed the pic or if the seat is custom. The seat has a gel pad sewn into it. No markings to indicate any brand.

Looks like a stock seat that was recovered/modified. Sargent and Corbin (though both offering several different styles and textures, with Corbin actually making pretty much anything you want) both have distinctive patterns. What does the underside look like? The bottom of a Sargent is red but the pan and seat is light like the stock seat. The bottom of a Corbin is black (fiberglass I believe) and it weighs about as much as a boat anchor (and probably doesn't fit properly).

From what I see, I say it is not factory. That skin is definitely not oem and the hump to the passenger looks a tad tall to me. Might it have been a modded oe, maybe. Till we see a pic of the underside, we'll never know.
My Corbin fits perfectly. On/off is 1000% times easier than the oem seat was.

I never liked my Corbin comfort wise, and that coupled with the excessive weight it was an easy choice to switch to a Sergent.
Which both fit my butt better and was 100 lb lighter//LOL (ok a few pounds)
I will say the Corbin is a much better cover than the Sergent, very nice materiel and quality..just could not sit on the damn thing comfortable.

Do you get a buddy to help lift in on an off or use a small chain hoist or crane?

That being said.. fit on it is perfect.

To clarify I guess my main gripe (besides that they weigh so much) with the fitment is with regards to the solo cowl. I've NEVER seen one the solo cowl didn't stick way up on in the back. Last one I had I had to mess around with and trim on the underside to get the solo cowl to fit flush like stock. Yes they do look awesome though. My 2 cents if I could put the beautiful Corbin cover on the Sargent seat that'd be perfect. The backrest option is also pretty cool if you ride with a passenger.
Again if you post up a picture of the underside of the seat I/we can probably tell you for sure what it is... If it looks identical to the underside of another stock seat then its a stock seat that was modified and recovered.
