Running rich; I think....

So a few weeks ago I posted a thread about an exhaust leak that I had in my right midpipe. I just finaly got around to patching it up a couple of days ago and the hawk sounds great again.

Anyways, While I had the hole in the midpipe I noticed that the bike pulled way harder in a top gear roll on and especially with a downshift to 5th. im thinking the leak made the bike run leaner and it felt like a new animal.

Now that I have pluged the leak up I really am noticing a difference in a top gear roll on is not as peppy, runing rich again.. I think.

My question is this. I am completly ignorant on how to work on a carb, its complete chinese to me. Not saying I wouldnt learn how, but I am scared of messing somthing up with a wrong adjustment. Other than spending 300-400 bucks on having someone dyno and adjust my bike what can I do to help get the pep back.

Thanks fellas
