Replacing Lost Keys

Hello

Stupidly I have been riding around for the last year of so with only 1 key for my bike thinking "I'll have to get another on of these cut". Anyway unsuprisingly I have lost that one key now and I need to get one.

I've read a few posts about removing the lock and taking it to a lock smith which I can do however my bike has the H.I.S.S making it more difficult. Does anyone know the best way to go about this?

a good reputable lock smith will be able to make you a key for that paticular key system.it has a series of numbers on it that they will be able to trace and get it squared away for you.
might cost a bit, mine is a 98,it doesnt have the H.I.S.S. but it cost me 10 bucks just for one key to be made.they did it off the serial numbers.

If you can't find the solitary HISS key for your bike, then it'll be easier to replace all the locks on the bike.

As the HISS key has a transponder which talks to the HISS unit and exchanges codes.

or find a company as described in this thread to to end your top yoke and to reprogram your ECU:
