Regulator Rectifier modified stock wiring
I'm installing a reg. rectifier from a 05 cbr1000rr. I'm modifying the stock wiring harness and wanted to know if i need to attach the stock ground strap(the green wire/ ring that attaches to one of the reg. rectifier mounting bolts) from the stock reg. rectifier to the new one? I've mounted the new one to the engine block.

No. just ground the green to the frame and forget about it.
