R/R failure, again

R/R failure, again
So I only got about 3k out of this one. I had the original fail at 14K and replaced it with the updated Honda finned unit. Enough of Honda R/R's my mechanic has a Rick's unit on order. Luckly having had this failure before I saw what was happening and was near my mechanics shop so I pulled it in there. When we went to start it to check voltage it wouldn't even turn over. So at least I got it there since clearly I wasn't going to make it home.

Honda ones suck bawls.
Ricks are made in china with no warranty.
Ricks does wind stators in the USA tho.

I bought one from Rick's afew years ago, no problems. They do come with a 1 year warranty as long as it's bought direct from them.

Yep.....I got mine from Ricks for a hundred bucks and a 1yr warranty time will tell if it holds up though!

got my honda finned version about 2 yrs ago. no probs yet. sounds like bad luck to me. sorry to hear. I'd be changing brands too if I were you.
