PAIR on Dyno?
PAIR on Dyno?
Has anyone ever run their VTR on the dyno with the PAIR system intact and then ran it removed? Or, have you ever done it on any bike with secondary air injection? Just curious what you may have noted for a difference in air fuel ration with vs without?

Not power...AFR. The PAIR is a controlled air leak into the exhaust stream which does show up as a false lean condition. This is why they are disconnected for a dyno run, to allow for a more accurate reading. Now in my case I'm running the PCV directly to the reed valve, this has a similar effect, the only difference being that the air pulled into the exhaust stream is from the crankcase as opposed to the airbox. I've only read of one other person verifying the extent of the lean condition caused by the PAIR system though he did not elaborate other than to say it was excessive at 7k and above...this is consistent with what I saw on my last run, after 7k the AFR trended toward lean. Just curious what others may or may not have seen,
