Noise at higher speed

So my bike has a whine at speeds, above 55 mph. I know somethings not right but I am not sure what. Could this be the classic cct problem? I have about 20k on the bike. I recently changed the chain and sprockets adding 2 teeth to the back. It's hard to tell but it sounds like it is louder on the left.

Yeah I have always had a 6th gear noise as well. Used to worry about it, still pulls hard. Does your noise go away by dropping to 5th. There have been a few threads started on the issue but I don't thnk any resolution.

Mine does it in 5th and 6th. When I pull the clutch it goes away. It starts mostly around 70 mph but it doesn't start right away. My local shop took it for a ride and said they didn't hear anything to worry about. It is still making the noise and I hope that I can figure out what it is. I did change my chain a bit before I noticed the sound.

I'm surprised nobody has made this suggestion yet, but have you tried leaving the girlfriend/wife at home?
