So i am getting ready to leave just now, bike is running and I realize my garage door opener is in my other jacket. I shut off the bike go inside and get it go to start the bike again and it turned over then went completly dead, my nuetral and oil lights doent even come on. what's up with it.

 

Battery connection or main fuse... maybe the garage door opener works on the bike.... kidding.

or, the ignition key switch.... ?

 

I sometimes have a similar problem. For me it's the battery connection. All I have to do it pop the seat off, jiggle the connectors and then it's good to go. One of these days I'll tighten the nuts but the only time I think to do it is when it happens, and at that point I just wana ride, not tinker.

 

no fuses were blown. Just got a new battery and she started right up. hopefully that is all.

 

R/R might be going too.. If it happens again, that's probably the culprit.

 

thats what I was thinking but I am getting 14.06v across the terminals at 2500rpm's. so hopefully it good mow.
