motor swaps

im just wondering if any of the other higher horse vtr motors swap in our super hawks?

sp1 vtr shows to have 130 horses i believe. im sure that this may be a stupid question but they say vtr so i figure maybee they would swap?

oh well that was the beuty of the katana i had you could swap bandit, gsxr,and basically any oil cooled inline four suzuki had.

Well the main reason you can't swap engines is that the swingarm is bolted directly to the engine block... No lower frame... Keeps the VTR slimlined but the downside is that another engine won't fit... Swap the engine and you are building another bike...

actually the main problem is the engine mounts are different.

sp2 swingarm bolts up just fine to superhawk motor.

Yeah, and then you do a fork swap. The VTR forks will bolt right up to an SP-1.
