Is anyone familiar with a Nissin 3/4 master cylinder? I suspect it's off of a 600RR, it's an axial with remote reservoir and I can't seem to find a rebuild kit for it. Alternatively, does anyone know in which application it may have been used?

Unlikely from a cbr600rr. "04-'06 were integrated reservoir axial, '07 on were radial. Could be wrong, but there wasn't a 600rr pre '04 and they didn't have remote reservoirs.

 

I'll check my 00~01 VTR1000SP1 & 02~06 SP2 MC for their sizes & LYK...

Did you check the VTR brake component compatibility list?

 

Nope, but I figured it out. It can be from either a 929 or and rc51.

I meant the RC51 / rvt / s p 1 / s p 2

 

Not a clue really, all ***** sells a kit though. It's just disturbingly difficult to find that info reliably. What I ended up doing was finding a 929 master on ebay and zooming into the photo to see the casting marks. Once I confirmed that I found the part number and it crossed over to RC51 as well.

Many times...but If it shows what bikes have used 3/4 mc...I've not seen it.

Nope.... .750" is 3/4". That's why the master is cast with the number "3/4" and not 19mm. Interchangeable? Sure, probably. Was I aware that .748 is almost 3/4, Yes, but none of that helps me find a rebuild kit. Only the application does, which is why...I asked if anyone else was familiar with the application.
