Link Pipe Length
I am toying withe the idea of re routing my exhaust to come out on the right hand side with 2small G.P cans fitted in a staggered patern mounted up higher.
I will be removing the rear passenger pegs and hanger brackets as they don't get used .
A bit like a modern version of a Paul Smart Ducati system.
My question is how important is the link pipe length in relation to my carb settings.
I run a standard air filter and a dyno jet kit with lightened flywheel 4 degree advancer, pair removed, electric water pump, t.p.s set and a few other minor mods and am really happy with the way the bike performs and don't want to risk stuffing up the performance by modding the exhaust.
Am I being paranoid, or should I just go ahead and worry about it later, or does someone on here have experience with similar?
Any help or advise appreciated.
