Jetting on a 996 Super Hawk with Jardine Slip On's

I bought my bike and the PO installed a set of pipes but he did not jet it. I would like to jet it and that leads me to these questions. Where should I buy the correct jets and what jets should I use? I live in Columbus Ohio so I am not at any high elavation.

The pipes are the Jardine high mounts withthe black can.

Thanks

The standard "level one" of either dyno-jet or factory brand deliver good results. This is a FAQ so you might want to search the forum for more detailed info on each.

If all you're doing is slips and no airbox modification or drop-in, I'd leave the jetting alone unless the bike starts running poorly. Slipons usually don't require a rejet.

I also just purchased a 2002 Superhawk and really want to add different mufflers or complete exhaust system. Currently the exhaust is stock. How does yours sound with the slip ons?

The Jardine RT-One slip on canisters will make your bike sound like a Slayer's riff. Seriously, in comparison, with the stock cans (even with bafflectomy) is like listening to a girl crying.

The PO of my bike had a K&N filter so when I got the Jardines i also installed a DinoJet stage 1 jet kit. It did make a difference, but nothing to brag about too much.
