Hawk Year matter 4 starter?

Hawk Year matter 4 starter?
Does the year of the bike (2003) make a difference in the model of the starter motor? I need one and a guy is selling a 1998-1999 model year used motor? Are they all the same? Anybody else have one to sell?

SPRHK is an unknown quantity at this point
They should all be the same. I am not aware of any significant changes in the years of production other than cosmetics, guages, and the way they port the water pump.

According to microfiches there should be no change... item no# has changed though... but that happened to a lot of items without any change...
