having big problems with my SH

what happened was the cam chain snapped while i was riding and the piston came up and bent the valves so i replaced the cct but with the stock one again cause the macanic is dumb. put knew valves and that in. he buttoned it back up. that was a month or two ago, when i got it i noticed when i was getting on the throttle it was bogging and cutting out at about 6500 rpm and there was a loud clicking and jolting at lower rpm around 3000. so he told me that the valves needed to seat and to run a couple of tanks through it. i took it back cause it was still doing it and he said it was the cdi box. than i came here and seen some guy had a timing problem and it sounded about the same problem as mine, with it hesitating and stuff. so i took it back to him again and he says the timing is perfect. please help.

also sounds a little like a carb problem too. throw away the stock cct's and go with ape( set and forget ones). cant go wrong with them. still costs less than oem.

I don't know what your problem is but I don't think your mechanic has a clue. Valves don't need to run to be seated in! More than likely the cam timing is out and he made a mistake putting it together. Try another mechanic, he sounds like he's gona throw parts at it rather than check his work. The guys on this site are on the ball so keep asking for there help and hopefully you get it fixed. Good luck
