Front oil cooler

Front oil cooler
When i emty the bike for oil, do the oil cooler also run dry then ? i got the front valve cover off and its a pain to get it to fit again with the oil cooler on.

advice plc.

Why not just unbolt the oilcooler mounts and move it out of the way?
