I found some frame sliders that you don’t have to modify the faring for US$119.00 to my door.

A search should give you some info as there have been previous threads on the subject.

Thanks, I did a search, but did not come up with anything directly related. Maybe I did the search wrong or something.

The LsL sliders are nice you can get them through spiegler. Nineighthawk has them on his bike there are pics somewhere. They also have some sliders on ebay for $109 I think someone on here bought them and were happy with them.

I of course went the difficult route and moded my own with modified 1000rr bases and carbon fiber R1 sliders. I could never do anything the easy way!

Here's a link to nineighthawks bike scroll about 2/3rd's down the page.

I got mine from www.SWsliders.com..... Easy install and no mods necessary.... I ordered over the phone and they came in about 3 days... Great quality too.

Thanks, I feel better about ordering them; they do look like good quality and for 1 $109 they better be.

Thank you, for the pictures!!

More SW Slider Info

The name of the couple who make/sells the sliders are Todd and Stacy.... You will need both an 8mm hex and 17mm socket for the install.... I thought I still had their home phone, but can't seem to find it, cause before I ordered, I emailed them with questions, and they called me right away leaving a message so I called them back........

Re: Frame Sliders?!?!?

I've seen the SW sliders bend and break. (No doubt under certain circumstances they all can). The LSL sliders appear to be mounted slightly beefier but look too blingy imo. Of all the sliders I've seen that don't require cutting the fairing, the MOKO's are expensive but are by far the most heavily built.

Check em out.

Re: Frame Sliders?!?!?

Just bought the LSL sliders from www.spieglerusa.com. The guy on the phone was helpful. Also, he said several people had been buying S-hawk stuff from them. I know I saw their site on other posts from happy customers. I didn't think they "look too blingy", unless you went for an outragous color. I got the silver ones.

I'll let y'all know what I think when they come in.
