F4 shock

Just got a F4 shock made to fit the hawk. Only problem is the compression adjuster only has about 1/4 turn of movement. Any ideas what the problem could be? Rebound seems fine with 2.5 turns.

Likely damaged by being turned past the stop.. Very common,, They show failure in two mods.. Like yours, and free turning with no stop at all.

Took it to a shop down here, theyre gonna look at it.

Does anyone the specs for a superhawk shock? Dimensions, length, mounts... Talked to Thermosman and he might be able to make one for me. Just need some numbers and I dont have easy access to my bike right now.

Re length: In this thread (still best measure your own shock or give it to them as a pattern )

Turns out the emulator was installed backwards. Guy at the shop charged it to 140psi but said he wasnt positive if that was correct. Does anyone know the correct pressure?

Showa shocks 200~225psi depending on who you ask. Both my DMr F4I rear shock upgrade w/RaceTech GV and OEM shock I rebuilt and installed a valve in are at 225psi

Thanks. Do you know how being under charged would affect the performance? Don't have time to get it topped up before I leave for the track.

Aeration, some dampening loss perhaps... I have the technical ability to build forks shocks to OEM, others specs, I do not claim to be a suspension wiz.

Im a cook, I can follow a recipie, I am not a chief.
