The dreaded cct?

I'm getting a low grade knocking noise coming from the clutch cover. The clutch was slipping so I replaced it, but the noise remains. just got it back from the shop for a carb tune-up and the mechanic said it was normal v twin noise. Sounds a little loud for that. The hawk only has 9500 miles on it. Any pointers? Appreciate it.

The CCT noise is more of a rattling or clicking than a knocking sound. Did you replace the clutch or have a shop do it?

I did the clutch. Replaced the springs and the plates.

Didn't have any extra parts left over, did you? Reason I asked was because there is a quieting gear on the gear next to the clutch. It's a pain in the *** to get back on and I was just thinking that if the shop left it off it would allow the gears to rattle like a clunk that you describe.
