DJ adjustment

Well I went for a ride
yesterday(https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ead.php?t=5451) and the DJ adjustment was pretty annoying, I had a lean spot on light throttle that made my engine surge when cruising.
So I yanked out the carbs one more time and pulled my needles one notch, I now use the 3 rd counting from the needle body. Fired right up and fixed the whole thing, now I won't have to go as fast ....

Yeah I think I detonated a little the little aluminium flakes are from the piston, I'll pull the plug after the next joyride. Don't worry, I'll hook up my radar detector to the bike

I had hooked one up to a previous bike (FZ750) and managed to hang onto it all of two weeks (before getting pulled over and having it seized by a clever cop), but it more than paid for itself in that short timespan. I a calmer now (and need my license) so I am much more reserved when I ride although, let's just say I don't get stuck in traffic very long

Well after riding it today, I have the feeling that I can use more fuel for some weird reason, I was wondering if my weird exhaust could have something to do with this, I have never had this bike to lay carbon on the plugs. I already run 180/185.
Will ride some more and check on the plugs later, prolly next week
