dieing at idle

Hey guys my 2002 superhawk that I bought last year dies at idle it has 2000 miles on it and has done it since it was new I think it is lean but not sure is there anyway I can adjust the idle mixture if so how and where??? I have the idle set at about 1200 somtimes it dies more somtime less also do you guys think I will have problems at elavation I'm going to be riding on deals gap in a month or two and was kinda wondering??

well to get to the idle adjuster screw, go to the right side of the bike and peek in just behind the fairing and inbetween the cylinders. its tucked away underneath the carbs. its the biggest screw in there. but if your bike is set to 1,200rpm, and its stalling, I think you might have a different problem. does the idle fluctuate alot? what happens when you crack the throttle? sounds like you might need to get your carbs cleaned, or retuned.
