Charging issue

Battery charges when revd but not during idle. New stator and does this with new rectifier or old rectifier installed. Feel like it's more the rectifier but don't know how to assess at this point.

What is the voltage at idle and above?

It will be around twelve but will pull charge and die while idling but will charge up to twelve and slightly above when revd to 5k but the battery inevitably loses charge while idling

Should be above 13v. How old is the battery? Have the battery load tested.

I had an old one and a new one as of a month ago that I recharged. It seems to be charging and holding a charge now even with the old rectifier. Hopefully the situation is remedied. Thank you for the help.
