Chain Question..WTF!

so I adjusted the cain a bit today becaus it was way loose...Stiffened it up a bit and was good, have it on my stand. So I rolled the rear wheel a bit and the chain got loose again? Rolled it a little more and it got tight again?? Tight..loose..tight..loose.. Does this make any sence??

Tight spots are an indication that you need a new chain.

I had that once and there turned out to be a kink in the chain b/c of rust...

When you're turning it, watch the chain as it approaches the rear sprocket- you may notice the chain kick up as it goes over the sprocket. I ended up having to replace the chain...

REPLACE THE CHAIN AND THE SPROCKETS AT THE SAME TIME-STRETCHED CHAIN WILL HAVE WORN YOUR SPROCKETS. INSTALLING NEW CHAIN WITH YOUR WORN SPROCKETS WILL WEAR NEW CHAIN AND WORN SPROCKETS EVEN FASTER.

I had the same problem with the chain being tight in one spot but loose in another. I drove myself nuts for a while trying to find the cause. Turned out to be a missing roller. I even found one half of it jammed in the crud that builds up behind the front sprocket cover.
