cams

After checking my valve clearance the cams are sticky... Barely want too move any ideas??

Debris under the cam caps / cams.
Mis torqed cam caps
Debris between the bucket and head
shim out of place
Cams mis timed and you have valve/ piston interference

its been sitting for about a month... the cam chains are not on the sprockets so it cants be valve interference... i am just totally lost i have no idea whats wrong.

have you turned the crank while the chains are disconnected?
if so you probably have valve to piston interference.


eta..........open up your manual and follow the steps to the letter.........or throw the manual out the window and seek professional help.
sounds like you have it out of time.

Did you use some assembly lube when reassembling the cams?

The cams are marked for intake and exhaust.
