caliper bolt question

As some of you may know, I recently picked up an oversize (320mm) front brake conversion kit for my VTR (blame it on the OCMD, lol). The kit, made by Braketech, comes with caliper relocation brackets and shouldered hex head bolts for fasteners. I was thinking, however, of replacing them with titanium fasteners (for various reasons: unsprung weight, corrosion resistance, bling) and was wondering if tapered head Allen bolts would be suitable for this job? FWIW, the stock bolts are parallel head Allens. BTW, my reason for looking at the tapered head option has to do with availability in the required length (35mm).

thanks in advance for your input.

cheers

I'm running tapered head Ti allens on the caliper brackets on my set up with no problems.
