broken bolt at front of tank

broken bolt at front of tank
Does anyone know what size the bolts are that hold the front of the fuel tank down to the frame? I snapped one of the bolts off when taking the tank off. It looks like the aluminum threads gave way the the bolt, so I need to hopefully retrace the threads and it will fix the problem.

just take the spare one to your local hardware store. NOT to a Lowes or Home Depot. If your True Value store is like mine, they will have stainless steel bolts in various sizes with various types of heads. If not that, see if you have a local Fastenal store. They are a good source. Last thing to try is the local bike shop. you'll pay four times as much and will have to wait a week for them to ship it in.
