brake lines

Anybody here have kevlar brake lines on the for the front of their bikes? I've checked the usual places like dennis kirk, lp & 1888fast lap. Any ideas where to find them?

Thanks

Re: brake lines

www.parts411.com has them I do believe.

I went with braided stainless lines from www.cyclebrakes.com.
They were good folks and I am very happy with the quality of what I got from them.
You can check and see if they sell Kevlar lines. I do not know.

FWIW, I have read the Kevlar lines are not as durable as braided stainless and are subject to UV effects if the outer covering is chipped or otherwise compromised.

Re: brake lines

I've never read that about kevlar lines................maybe they need to come off my track bike

I looked on parts411 website & didn't see anything. I'll give them another look as well as cyclebrakes.

thanks!

Last place I remember seeing them was at a closeout site so I'm not sure they even make them anymore. I'll see if I can find the place again.
