Which aftermarket brake lines?

My fresh from the crate 2003 SH brake and clutch fluid went from clear to whiskey color over the first 1000 miles. Time to change the old stuff.

That being said, will switching to stainless lines firm things up, and what lines should I buy, and where should I get them? I searched posts but most led into major parts conversions. Someone liked Muzzy lines. Spiegler? Galfer?

Just looking for quality and a firmer front brake. No bright colors etc.

I loved my Galfer lines. Those, coupled with EBC HH pads, were a huge upgrade from the stock stuff.

I agree Galfers are nice. I got them on all my brakes and clutch. If you look on ebay sometimes they have SS hose and pad combos. I got mine from Dennis Kirk anything over $100 the shipping is free.

I have been happy with the speigler lines - the mounts are made to be rotated easily to aid in assembling them (not sure, maybe all the companies design their lines to do this). EBC sintered pads.

I have owned Galfer and currently Muzzy. I have seen two cases of Galfer lines with cracking and breaking of the outer coating. I don't know if they have fixed the problem but I would look at Spiegler or Goodridge. There may be others. A kevlar line would work just as well, BTW.
