98 superhawk continuing fuel issues please help

98 vtr 1000 California canisters on it
19000 miles on the bike
bike seems to be overfueling. Fuel shoots out the vent tubes and bubbles down in the butterfly on decel. So far it’s been to two different mechanics in a two month timespan. Carbs were cleaned/rebuilt with stock jetting, float needles replaced and seats polished, new petcock diaphragm installed. New mechanic seems to think it’s fueling through the vent tube possibly. I’m really far invested and at this point I’m about to give up and part it out. I can’t afford to keep paying for it without any progress being made. Should I cut my losses?

compression 148/155
havent run a leak down

Who did the carb work? Are the float levels correct?

FLOAT LEVEL INSPECTION
With the float valve seated and the float arm just touching the valve, measure the float level with the float level gauge.
TOOL:
Float level gauge 07401-0010000
FLOAT LEVEL: 16.6 ± 0.5 mm (0.65 ± 0.02 in)
The float cannot be adjusted.
Replace the float assembly if the float level is out of specification.
Install a new O-ring into the float chamber groove. Install the float chamber and tighten the three screws.

It’s not brain surgery. Their just carburetors.

I seems that you might need someone who knows motorcycle carbs. For example: https://www.wgcarbs.com/
There are many options.
Not intending to be an ***, just throwing it out there.

Thank you

Actually this is just what I’m looking for!
im sick of these shade tree mechanics I’d way rather send the carb in for a rebuild and be done with it! I’ll give them a call!

Problem solved!!!

So the problem has been solved!!! A generous guy from this forum Carey Gilbert was generous enough to reach out and take a look at my carbs. They had dyno springs and slides were drilled out. I can’t remember if it also had dyno jets or not but basically he was able to catch this and put everything back to stock. Got rid of the pair system and the California canister and she’s back up and running! No problem with needles or seats at all just straight overfueling with mismatched parts. A huge thank you to all of you who helped me out especially Carey! Love this bike!
