Smart *** answer first-
As opposed to a six hour clock?

The capability to display in the 24 hour format is possible on my bike.

Clock

I would rather have standard than Military time I just wanted to know if they all were Military time only.

It isn't really "military time". In fact most of the world uses a 24 hour format, just a quirk of the US I suppose and yes you can change the format, consult your owners manual.

Well now who is being to nice.....

The quick answer is no, some had no clocks at all....

Though I don't think you can change it from 24hr format.

I could be wrong but I think the 2001 models and up had the digital gauges. I do not believe my 2000 model I had previously had a clock. (could be wrong!?)

According to the factory service manual for all years, the digital dash with clock was added starting with model year 2000.

Neither owner's manual nor shop manual make reference to any ability to switch between 24 hour mode and 12 hour mode.

I think you had to special order the 12 hour option as part of a package including cigarette lighter, dvd player and airbags....

Thanks for the replies I only have a little over 100 miles on my Hawk since i bought it. Due to the fact I'm still recovering from Colon cancer.I sold my FJR when I found the Cancer didn't know how it would turn out once i started getting better. I seen the S Hawk and thought why not.
