2003 Fuel gauge

I was heading out in the mountains and had a half tank. I filled up, turned the bike back on and the gas gauge does not work? It flashes in the reserve but does not register anything other than low fuel?? Any idea? Had LOW miles and no other issue's prior.

Did you take your seat off when you filled up by chance? The small two-wire connector under the seat is for the tank sensor. Check it's integrity.

I have checked all the connectors and still no luck. Thanks for the advise as I will keep digging.
