Picked up the Hawk today. Fortunately I took the trailer as it rained for two hoursd after we loaded it. A ride around New Years might be possible. Our chapter did one a couple of years ago on one of those 60 deg Jan days we occassionaly get. Either way there's good group in the Tirad area and hopefully by Feb/early spring we'll be back to riding once a month. Here's where rides are posted:

I would love to get together for a ride soon. On Jan 1st our Church off-road club www.rocksolidriders.net is going to West Virginia to do some riding. Probably some snow riding. LOL..

 

Well, my test ride was in the rain so I could only tell that it shifted very smooth...ie Honda! The front brake is very soft and the guy thinks it still has original pads so it's going on the stand for front pads, braided brake lines and new fluid.
