'01 GSXR 1000 forks on my 'Hawk?
I did a search, and didn't come up with anything definitive....
I have a chance to get a set of GSXR 1000 forks, off of a 2001, for CHEAP, and I need to know if they will fit on my 2001 SuperHawk? Anyone done it, or know if it has defnitely been done?

You can mount any forks on any bike as long as you have the right triple clamps...
and yes gsxr forks have been put on vtr's before - using 954 triples

Yes I did it using 954 triples. The problem you'll run into is the wheel rotor combo. The SH wheel won't work because of axle size,(which can be fixed with major mod), but the rotors are bigger on the gixer. I solved the problem with RC51 wheel and rotors but you still have to change out the bearings and spacers.
It was a fun, (and a little frustrating), project but I love the results. There is also a length issue but all of that is in the link that gotbeef provided. If yoou have any other questions feel free to ask here or pm me.
