Because you can never check your TPS ohm setting often enough. Made a jumper with a matching connector for the TPS.
Actually I want to experiment with other settings than the current 497 ohm. Seems I've read somewhere that for high altitude there is some benefit to a bit more advance. Understanding that the starting point is the only thing that changes.
Why doesn't this have a rheostat and a digital readout?
Was just thinking that... if you really want to experiment make a bypass with cables long enough to reach bars, take the OHM reading digital leads all the way to the TPS though so you do not get false readings by taking measurements at the adjuster.
And not need for a rheostat , a potentiometer is all thats needed with the very low wattage this circuit has.
