They are a little stiff at first but that's because the leather is thicker than most a trade off I would take anytime. These have been broken in though and aren't very stiff at all they are us size 46 but fit snug. I'm not 100% sure they are sized the same now as they were and you know size varies from suit to suit but it might give you an idea at least. I have 3 leather suits right now they all "fit" (like I said this one is alittle tight) but they're all different sizes. I also have a mesh suit for the street and that's a different size too. Which really sucks you would think a 44 fits like a 44 all the time but it don't.

Wish they were size 58/48.
I just can't squeeze my fat body in a set of 56/46.
I tried on 5 different leather suits yesterday & found I'm too fat for anybodies 56/46 when I add a back protector

Yeah the back protector does add some girth to it, I just got a KOBE one about a month ago from www.1888fastlap.com for $50 when they were having the moving sale. They're $99 now some of the guys on the track forum said stay away from the cheaper Teknic ones because they left little circular bruises down someones back from the mounting methode.

Re: Looking for some leathers..

Yeah Dawg, I'll go check um out....I doubt they will have that one instock, but I am sure that a similar, same brand should do the trick....Thanks for the info...

And I know what you mean, it is hard to find them big enough without spending an arm and a leg....course that I am working on at the gym...lol....only problem is I keep gainging muscle mass and not loosing enough weight....oh well...

This one I found is a size 50 and a 52, according to the Fieldsheer size chart the 50 is a XXXL same with the 52....

The Joe Rocket tex I have is a XXXL and it feels more like a double X...as I normally would buy a XL or XXL in a Jacket....weird....

Re: Looking for some leathers..

Sorry forgot to answer you cliffy. Yea they seem to be good quality leather and nice stiching, I also have a mesh/leather suit from them and it seems better than most of the others I tried on. Good liners that don't seem to rip either. What's your height and weight my mesh one is a 50.

That is good to know, as I have not seen the fieldsheer in person yet, I am going down to the shoo CNI Dawg told me about to check them out...
Probably a waste of time since the weather here never really got that cold...easy winter...gotta love it....But it's America, and I want it so I will get it....lol....Land of the Free and Home of the spoiled....

Thank you and it's alright to admire the talented. If your temps are anything like the houston area,(wife's father lives there) look for one that has lots of perforations. It really helps keep you cooler and they come with liners to make them warmer in cooler weather.

I wear jacket size 42, but I'm flexible to 40-44, depending on the day.

These are 46, but are you going to get a back protector? If so you'll want a little extra room for that anyway. It comes with a foam type one but that's not really much protection. If you want I can post pictures the only thing that it doesn't have are knee pucks,(sorry keeping those).

Its good, so good in fact I'm taking it and putting it on my own S/H. The one on mine is bondo-ed, and kinda looks second-rate. It's all together and everything, but it's more of a trackday kinda piece than anything else. Are you looking for that, or for a mint one?

Here's some pics let me know if you need any other pics or any questions. For some reason the color on the pictures is a little light. The blue is much darker in person almost purple.

I'm 5'7" and they worked for me but just a little long. They should be just about perfect length wise I think. If anything I would think they might be a little roomy in the gut but if your getting a back protector they should fit great.

I won't take a dime over $50. I've got the packing slip on and I'm out the door!
