Diamond Gusset Jeans

I just wanted to point out that Diamond Gusset puts out a quality product, made in the USA. Bon Aqua, Tennessee to be exact, southwest of Nashville. Looks like great riding country on Google Maps.

I think I heard of these jeans in Sport Rider Magazine. Anyway, I looked up their website a couple months ago. Their riding jean is called "Defender" jeans, and is high quality denim with Kevlar reinforcement in the butt/hips and knees. They also have a velcro strap to tighten up the leg opening, which most others I'd checked out did not have, and the leg openings were huge. That was my main complaint with some other brands I'd checked out in several shops, aside from the fact that most are made in China.

They were delivered 3 days after I ordered them. They give instructions for sizing, telling you to measure the waist and inseam on your most comfortable pair of jeans. When I opened the package, the measurements were right on. They have a liberal return/refund policy if the fit is not right.

Cost was $115.95 plus shipping = $123.90 delivered to my door. Again a very high quality product. Nothing I've seen in shops even compares.

I washed and dried them today, then went for a ride.

I guess this is a good time to update. After 5 or 6 washings and machine drying (even at high temp) there is very little shrinkage, unlike Levi's from my experience.

If anyone goes for these, just follow their instructions for sizing. It's right on.

As per my knowledge, everybody knows that knowledgeDiamond Gusset Jeans are different because of the unique gusset sewn into the crotch, and they are made in USA. I really like the fit and don't think I'll ever buy any other jean again. The other feature I like is the ankle closure to snug up the pant cuff around my boots.
