can't decide between helmet

So I have decided to go with the shark rsr2 or rsi and not bell. I am really torn between the red/black rsr2 or the black or white rsi. the styling on any of these imo is incredible second only to the safety ratings these helmets get and the companies dedication to it. Your thoughts.

I kind of see the red/black as a bad *** design while the black or white as classy yet still bad ***

They're all decently clean, depends which you like. I say black but the white is not bad either.

What color is your bike? If it's red then that's the answer.

I like the red / black. I am no a big fan of designs that are just the company name or logo. I think they should discount those lids to pay you for the advert.

+1 on that one. To me it's like a Honda sticker on a civic. I always try to go for something that does not have a logo, else something that has smallest one so it's not in your face as much.

I really like the RSR2 and almost bought one until I got a deal I couldn't refuse on an Arai. That being said...Red/Black is always my first choice.

My opinion is you better go try them on, those 2 helmets. Have competely different fits to them. The RSI gave me a huge hot spot on my forehead while the Rsr2 fit very nicely, not to mention sizing is different as well. Also be aware that all sharks have very long chinbars just sayin.

I've got four Shark RSR 2's- a Fujiwara rep, a Foggy Tribute, a DuHamel rep, and a black carbon. There is something substantial and confidence inspiring about these RSR 2's compared to many other brands. But as mentioned the RSR 2 and RSI have completely different internal shapes. If an Arai Quantum or RX-7 series fits you well then the RSR 2 will work well too.

Another point that I forgot is the sheilds are different, the Rsr2 has a thicker shield and a locking mechanism. I did get some compaints of the shield opening up when the riders looked over their shoulder to check for cars. The Rsr2 also vents a little better so if you are in a hotter climate like I am that may be a big plus.

if you are talking about color, get the white one. A riding buddy of mine got a plane white helmet a few years back and I could not believe how much more visible he was from any angle. Something about a big white helmet riding down the street 5 feet off the ground really draws your eye and the eyes of other drivers. I think they are safer, certainly can't hurt.
