HJC solid white...it is my first HJC helmet and I'm pleased.

I have an HJC FS-15, matte black. Great helmet for the price (around $200) with Snell and DOT approval. Some low-speed fogging and a little noiser than I'd prefer, but it fits me pretty well. And it does have a visor setting to keep it propped open just a wee bit, which stops the fogging.
I have a big ol' round head and had to get an XL, although I remember having a Large Shoei in the past. Maybe my head's gotten bigger or my face fatter. What brands do people recommend for big round heads? |
I have upgraded my Scorpion EXO 400 for a EXO 1000, great helmet! I still have my Icon, but the Scorpion is much more comfortable. (more than any other helmet I have tried on)

Shoei vs Arai
Been wearing a Shoei X-11 for the last three years. Before that was an Arai fan, Quantum & RX-7rr. Just got tired of replacing the side pods on the arai. Side pods would only last me a year or so. I change visor's quite often from clear to dark, for day and night riding. I think it was about ten year or so ago when Arai added the little black lever to remove the visor's that my issue with Arai side-pods started. Before that you would just snap the visor out.
Been super happy with the X-11, fits great, pretty quite with all the vents closed, and flows lots of air with vents open. Visor change is easy. Yea it's kinda of pricey. |

My first helmet was a full faced Bell which closely matched my '82 Nighthawk's colors and was a great/comfortable helmet. I have an Arai as a passenger helmet which I really have no opinion on except that it's not a Shoei lol...:peepwall:
As for myself I'm a big fan of Scott Russell and pretty much all things Native American so this was a no-brainer...the colors even match teh SupahChicken:thumbsup: |
