Winter roads suck! (as does winter)

Wow, I am still riding but the ride home today was 18*! I wouldn't care so much but the roads look like they have been testing missiles. They are actually doing "emergency" road work on the Brooklyn bridge due to winter pothole damage. I really cant wait for some less artic temps!

It's going to be 68 tomorrow here in Phoenix, I'm debating what shorts to wear.

C'mon, they said upper 40's in the NY metro area Saturday into Sunday. Warm enough for me. I'm ridin'
Worst thing is the Aprilia just arrived from CA w/o a key so no spins around the block. The Hawk is charged up just fine and ready to go.

But yes the roads are a bit roughed up. I mean really chewed up.

Nath, you were held back at least one grade in school right? Remedial kind of stuff?
This is a motorcylce forum & I am posting about riding a motorcyle.
How do you figure that is stupid?
Do you have like a case of beer before posting on here?
Do you ever think anything you dont say or right? You might want to try that.

you're right on all counts! dumb, drunk, and dense. That's me!
Now what's your excuse?

Oh, and rough roads translate into dual sport. Do not subject your hawk to these conditions.

It's almost 40 here in CT. Supposed to be in the 50's for Friday, but roads are a mess. Tons of sand, water everywhere from snow-melt. Nah, I'll give it some more time.

I went for a wee ride today... It hit 32F around noon... With windchill it equates to around 10F... For some reason the rear was a bit slidey...

got up to 60 today. Took the dual sport for a 100 miler. Boy I needed that! Came back with whiteish salt spray totally covering me and the bike, but it couldn't cover up that stupid ****-eating grin on my face.

I took advantage of the brief warmup in the northeast with a nice ride on the 'Hawk - nothing spectacular but it sure felt good to get out and ride!
