Wanted to ride, wait! More Snow

Temperature hit the 40's for the last couple of days. Was going to head out last night and just get the SH up and running maybe a few miles to blow it out. Took the train from NYC to NJ, starting to drip a bit but not bad enough to really be a bother.

Made it to Summit train station and full size wet-gel type flakes!!!! Very slick this morning.

Damn! To ride another day.

I did manage to get the concours out over the weekend and ride some. The SH is in the process of being prepped for the track, so no street riding for it. My son had the Triumph out too, so it got some exercise. I'm SO ready for the weather to get warmer!

Got home from duty on Saturday around 1430. 47 Degrees outside. Been waiting to get the bike to a friends house to do the suspension swap. Geared up and rode it there. It was nice. About 20 minutes. Hopefully, we'll start the swap soon.

We`re crying for snow up here (snowmobile trails are closed in the southern part of Quebec due to a lack of the white stuff)....

too easy, I prefer snow in the winter to brown grass, at least you can go out and do stuff (snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoeing, ....) as opposed to moping around staring at frozen bare ground. Have winter, enjoy winter, then move on to summer, none of this not-quite b******t we`ve had this year.....

can't wait to see where all the water will go here on the east coast when it melts. We are expecting another small/medium storm tomorrow through Friday. My ground probably will not be dry until June.

Dave I just checked out your bike pics page and realized that you have never lived by owning a red bike. I really feel for you, such a sheltered life.......

50s to 60s here in Buffalo NY today and tomorrow, and snuck in a few rides last week while it was nice... Then we get rain/wet snow Sunday and Monday so I will enjoy it while I can!

You know, I have never avoided them. I buy a bike based on a good deal coming along. I guess guys with red bikes always want too much money for them.

I've always coveted a blood-red ducati though.
