caught my wrist on a razor wired fence hidden in ivy today. not cool. just got back from the hand surgeon. damaged the muscles that control my middle and pointer fingers. won't be working for 2 or 3 weeks. bloody and nasty boys!

Seriously, that sounds bad. Are all the ligaments and tendons okay? What were you doing at the time?

i was throwing scrap aluminum into a pile on the other side of the fence. never knew there was wire above it until today. missed everything critical, just a deep stab wound that caught some muscle. the nasty part was i was hooked for a sec and was tugging at my arm...... i thought i had only caught my gloves...

 

my bike is at the shop and now i cant pick it up or ride it with my new tires and rejet kit for the new pipes....arrrrggghhhh!!

 

You could always have a friend or your wife ride it home...oh wait, having someone else ride your bike hasn't worked out too well for some Forum members lately.

Hope your hand heals quickly. Come to think of it, do any Forum members live nearby. You just need someone who doesn't try to pop a wheelie as soon as they get on it, or drop it cornering to hot with fresh tires.

 

man that sucks. i havent snagged my hand on razor wire but when i worked at a machine shop i was making spindles for cars and trucks and theyd often produce these razor sharps rings at the end with barbs facing inwards, and i snagged my finger on there a few times. the one time i left a pretty easy to follow trail of blood to the bathroom on the other side of the shop.
