It's f*#!&ing hot
I live in Minnesota but it feels like Louisiana. By the time I'm pulling my helmet on for a ride, sweat is already rolling down my neck and dripping off my nose.
Damnit, I pay taxes! How can this happen in this day and age! Heat like this should be illegal, shouldn't it? I'm writin' my governor, and I want answers.

I hear ya. I'm in Winnipeg, MB and we've been stuck in a ridiculous heat wave too. We've had 95-100 degree days for the last 2 weeks....I talked to my brother in Minneapolis and he said it was something like 115 with the humidity there! Kinda makes me laugh because we bitch about how cold and snowy it is in winter and how we cant wait for summer and then we get this and wish it was cold again! You just cant win....

Hanson MN's dew point reached 86 degrees... the hottest spot in the western hemisphere yesterday! other than the rain forests. Pretty sure I got moisture build up in my gas tank/line cause of the high dew point... had to take the car with no AC cause the bike started to run like crap about a mile from home

I was out the other day, sweating at a stop, and saw a guy on a scooter doing about 50 while wearing shorts, a t-shirt and sandals. Never do it myself, but "ignorance is bliss" crossed my heat-addled mind.

According to the Weather Channel, we had a "feels like temp" of almost 45 degrees Celsius. Feels like I ought to move to San Diego is what it feel like.

Yesterday's high down here in the deepish south was 92, this weekend is gonna be 95+ every day. If that weren't bad enough the humidity is typically 80% or more to accompany all that.
Last night when I went to bed at 10:30 it was 82 degrees still, right now at 5:30am its already 78....really not sure why I have lived in the south for so long....

Same thing here...woke up at 6am, it was 24 degrees, they're saying a high of 37 and i dont know what it'll be with the humidity....at least the mid 40's. Lame. I told my boss this morning that i'm not doing **** today, and i'm gonna take it easy. It sucks being in a shop with no A/C, working on a scorching hot bus.

I lived in Phoenix for 20 some odd years. You only think that you have felt heat.
So what you're saying is you'll trade blue flavored ***** for a red flavored ****.

91deg in Indy with 60+% humidity. It said 60% chance of rain this morning so I zipped my rain lining into my jacket. What a mistake. Was sweating before I left my house, and then my neighbor had a visitor who wanted to talk motorcycles for a bit so I was just standing there sweating.
Note to self-Bring extra shirt in a plastic bag tucked in jacket for work.

hey all, 1st post, will try and get something more formal with pics of my new hawk up soon
Living in Michigan and man alive it's ***** hot lately. I work nights and tonight was the first night in at least a week that it's gone below 80 degrees. I go home and think about a ride but between the car and my house I'm already sweating. So far am enjoying some rides to/from work since they're short and the sun isn't too intense (low sun in the morn and no sun riding in at midnight ).
I will say that some days I just don't feel up to gearing (helmet, jacket, gloves, combat boots), but I'm much less likely to do it when the temps go over 90 while it's humid.
