Kenny had a crash at the AFM season opener in Buttonwillow last weekend, and sadly passed away from his injuries today.

Kenny was declared brain dead today. He died doing what he loved, and what he excelled at. I have no doubt that there was nowhere on Earth Kenny would rather have been last weekend than at the racetrack, racing his motorcycles and hanging out with his friends. I'm sorry that all the thoughts and prayers we have received were not enough to bring him back, but please know that your love and comforting words really helped us get through the past week. Terribly sad, I can't imagine what his family is going through.

 

Peter Lenz was killed and now Kenny Anderson. It's horrible.

 

Ouch... I always dream about my two year old having such an affinity for motorcycles as I do, and these stories cause me to second think that dream. But I guess they could die playing football or baseball, or wrestling too, right?? Broken neck, line drive to the temple or something like that... Any way you cut it, it's sad. I pray for the families of these young professionals.
