Oh, they could... On the first straight... Then they'd get close to a wall/hedge/sidewalk and scare themselves silly... Then they'd be lapping at a brisk walking pace...

I have ridden that course on "Crazy monday"... I was however more than happy to stay at the posted speed even if I could have legally gone faster... Some parts on the mountain I went a bit faster...

But I can tell you going through the "busstop" at slighly over the posted limit was un-nerving... Doing race pace through there takes *****... Wathing video makes you go "Yeah, that's a bit narrow..." And then you get there and see it first hand and you will say: "Damn, it's that narrow!!!"

What I found hard to believe was the amount of rear shock travel as these folks made their way around the course particularly at those speeds.
