This is the best news on Moto racing coverage in a long time. Looks like they will air all 9 spots "Monday nights in prime time" this summer. I'll bet we will see more internation racing on the channel instead of more neck-car.

Here's a lap for you.
On board with Steve Plater. Worth a watch I think.

Yeah you have to love it when they get airborn at speed off the jump in "Balacry".
The schedule info above for the HD theater showtimes matches date info posted on the serveral other forums, which also go on to say it will air at 9PM. But the discovery website shows something else in that timeslot!?
Update: all times seem to jibe with info from iomtt.com...http://www.iomtt.com/TT-2009/TV-Schedule.aspx

I enjoy watching MotoGp and World Super Bike as much as anyone. I respect the the millionaires and multi millionaires who ride at the top of those games. But in my opinion, the guys who ride Isle of Man and Irish Superbike for working class pipe fitter, frame carpenter type money do so purely for the love of the sport and have the biggest ***** in all of motorsports.

Hotbrakes and I watched the practice last night on HD Theater, channel 281 on DirectTV 9 pm EST, and it was pretty cool. The fastest lap was a blistering 131 mph! And that’s on a course that is 37.733 miles (60.73 km) in length.
The next event will be aired Monday July 20th @ 9pm.

Who lapped at 131 mph.? I think the previous record was 129 mph. and change.

Car Craft magazine did an article awhile back about most manly motorsports and thankfully they "get it" and included motorcycle racing and said it's called the Isle of MAN for a reason Great stuff thanks for sharing. Those guys should all have sidecars just to haul their ***** around in.

I dont believe any of the Moto GP or AMA SuperBike guys could ride as fast as some of these guys are. That was just insane watching them ride on public roads at that speed. They were saying it takes 3 years to learn the course to get top speed on it.
