7-4 Moto2
I just hope Morales is okay. Sometimes track workers are idiots.
And the reason I'm saying the track workers were idiots is that they picked him up and moved him after he had been twitching like a hit squirrel in the middle of the road.

Then there's the deal with Iannone. He was running a great race, evidently unaware that he had passed on the yellow. And watching his pit crew trying to notify him, lap after lap, to drop a place when he's leading by a huge margin was hilarious. When the replay showed him passing under the yellow, the yellow flag was on the outside of the turn entrance. Who's looking at the outside when entering a turn? I felt bad for him.
Fortunately he had slid to safety, away from his bike, when that happened.
And finally the huge pile-up in turn 1 at the start. The replay showed one guy going way too hot on the inside, then all hell broke loose. Kind of predictable when 42 bikes are starting. An action packed race, for sure.
I got up at 5 am to watch MotoGP, then discovered it was replayed at 3 pm, following the broadcast of Moto2. I guess NASCAR didn't race yesterday. Don't you wish that happened more often.

The Moto 2 race was wayyy more exciting than th GP...IMHO!
The poor guy Morales - OMG that was scary as heck...I do hope he's OK.
I don't need high speed crashes and injuries to enjoy bike racing...having been at Assen and seeing Nagai killed following an innocent lowside, I just hate to see folks hurt.
But for exciting racing, can't wait for the next Moto 2!

Yeah, Iannone blew everyone away. He was running miles better than anyone else, and the point at which he passed the other guy would have been totally inconsequential to the results. It also left me thinking there should be a better way to communicate such penalties to the riders. Like say a lighted message board at the end of pit road to say "fall back 1 position", or whatever. I mean you can rent those things for like $50.00 per day!
Watching the Morales crash, he was very lucky the entire weight of the bike didn't hit his back/neck. Looks to me like the bike was spinning in the air as it impacted him. On the next revolution of the flip the full weight of the bike hit the ground and launched it into the fence. If it had hit him on the impact that sent it into the fence I don't think he would be with us anymore.
