Wehey! That's great news, and great for Erik Buell. This should / could be the start of his comeback - let's hope so...
Hell, I'm gonna dive into my freezing garage at the weekend and start my Buell...just for the hell of it!
Good thread Randy - glad you found the vid clip...

Erik Buell has just learned firsthand what it means to be sold out after going for the big money when he sold to Harley. He has been redeemed.
You can't be sold out if you own it. Erik Buell will never be sold again.
It will prob take months to bring it but I think there is another EB motorcycle out there. If nothing else, I like a guy that can think outside the box.
With so many Ho-Hum Motorcycles out there it's refreshing to hear people rave and rash on the same bike. At least the Buell stirs them to have an opinion.

Would I want to be the first one on the cusp - either way buying or selling - I don't thing so. If you own one - hang. If you don't - don't go buy one right away. This is all going to shake out and I don't think any of it bodes well for current owners. I think resale values will tank. If you like the bike - like the Superhawk you own it for life or give it away.
There will be a new Buell. It may take a couple years (non-compete etc etc etc) so he will go race some protos for a couple years but watch for the leaks in the media. Everybody is going to watch this one - even the major manufacturers.
