WRP Lite Series Titanium exhausts?
I've managed to obtain a pair of "WRP Lite Series" Titanium (I think) exhausts.
These are high mounted pipes. (think you need to remove/modify rear foot pegs) - and poss indicators (but not sure about those yet)
I'm trying to find out a bit about them.
the only thing I can find is this:
http://www.exoticsportbike.com/wrp_exhaust.htm
All I know is they are (supposed to be) LOUD
And they are indeed very light (not 100% if they are Titanium or Aluminium)
They don't appear to be mentioned on these forums, just wondered why really?
Anyone got any info on them?
I was told by the guy he paid £280 (UK Pounds) for them when new!
4% extra BHP sounds nice if true also

I emailed the guy I got the cans from a mail order bike catalogue.
They are obviously official firestorm pipes as there are no home made joins in the pipework. All welded construction with the correct bends etc at the bottom to fit the firestorm under bike pipework.
Not 100% sure what they are made of, but they are very light, and no rust anywhere on them.
I think he said they were Titanium.
Here's a pic of his bike when he had the pipes fitted to it a little while ago.
Note the mounting.....
He drilled a hole in the rear plastic mudguard, and screwed it to that.
Sounds a bit iffy, but he said it was fine, no vibration or anything.
I can't mount mine like that, As that plastic has been cut away (makes the back of the bike look better)
Also, looking at the pic, it does look like if you slid the mounting ring (around the silencer box) right the way forward, then that bracket MIGHT just bolt onto one of the rear footpeg frame bolt holes.

Yeah, looks like he has the strap closer to the end than designed. One thing to consider - that strap probably left a mark. If you're lucky it will be polished out with some Nev'rDull or something similar. If not then you'll be left with a mark or having to fab a bracket to mount in the same position he did.

I've used Autosol metal polish and both pipes shine like new, in the downtubes, but there are indeed marks where the clamping bands were mounted.
I did wonder about fashioning something that comes down from the frame under the seat and drop down to the exhaust clamp.
Just really itching to hear what they sound like.
Think they'll make the bike look even better form the rear, plus should shave quite a few lbs off the weight.

Man, does that look tight! OK, it's the bike that donated (??$$) its pipes to you, but it looks as bad as any ubersports with it. (All that and good ergos, too) My wife already told me she won't be riding with me, so I don't need the PassPegs anyway. Were you able to find the manufacturer?

Hey, back again. Let us know if there are any cornering issues with it, will you? Hate leaving metal behind... (Actually dragged my first bile so hard, I wore through a footpeg mount once. Bad idea. But I was busy keeping my CX 500 even or ahead of my equally young and testosterone and adrenaline-addicted friends, and that bike always held its line, even with metal dragging hard. Toes on the end of a folded-up footpeg was my way of life.)
