Wiring Question

Ok, so I am hooking up something called a Flash2Pass unit on my Superhawk. Basically it's a system that that will open/close your garage door when you flash your high beams twice.

In the directions, it states that the 2 "quick tap" pins need to be connected to the 2 horizontal wires on the back of the headlight leaving the one vertical wire alone. It also stated that it does not matter how they are connected as the module figures out the polarity. I am trying to confirm the colors of the 2 horizontal wires prior to tapping into them and was hoping someone here would know.

Cheers,
Dean

Because I'm lazy and don't want to go look at my headlight, I checked the Flash2Pass site and found this: "Single high/low with 3 wire connector. Tap the 2 outside wires."

Does that help?

I checked that as well however, the problem was, there were 2 wires on the right and one on the left. The 2 on the right were over top of each other and the one on the left was on the bottom.

Anyway, long story short, I figured it out. It's the green and the blue wires.

I took the cheap way out and used a relay and a door opener.
The only real work to do was open the remote and solder a wire to the button.

I originally thought about doing this but I still wanted to use my high beams with out sending a signal every time. Also, I don't have that "flash to pass" switch on my bike.
